Stay in His Will
1 Corinthians 10:13
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
The Bible says His yoke is easy and His burden is light. When we are in complete surrender, His yoke is easy. Imagine two horses in a yoke and one is surrendered to the Master’s plan and the other workhorse wants to visit the apple tree growing on the fence line. If we don’t surrender to God’s will, our road may get too tough to travel.
God says we will face no temptation that he has not already provided a way of escape for us. In all decisions we need to ask God to guard our minds and guide our thoughts.
Let go of the lust of the flesh and desires for selfish pleasure. Focus on what God has for us to do. We will have more peace and less stress when our priorities line up with God’s will. We will learn His will for our life by studying His Word and remaining in constant prayer.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
