Godhead – Three in One
Matthew 28:18-19 – And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
The veil did not keep God in the Holy of Holies. It seperated us from the Holy of Holies. Only the High Priest could, after a blood sacrifice offered for himself and the sins of the people, go into the presence God (Hebrews 9:7). When Jesus died on the cross, the veil was rent. It was torn from top to bottom (Mark 15:38).
Since Jesus died on the cross as the final sacrifice for man’s sin, we can enter the presence of Father God. If you call on the name of the Lord, you will be saved (Romans 10:13). The blood of Jesus is the only way we can be found righteous to come before God (John 14:6).
The Holy Spirit of God has been on earth since the beginning (Genesis 1:2). The Spirit of God has been anointing people for thousands of years (2 Chronicles 20:14). By the power of the Holy Spirit, God is here with us and everywhere (Psalm 139:7-10). Jesus said in …
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. 28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
The Father is God. The Son (Jesus) is God (John 10:30). The Holy Spirit is God. They are one in Spirit. Don’t you know your body is temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)? We can allow the Holy Spirit to fill our temple.
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
