Matthew 6:9-11 (KJV) – After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
When we plan to do God’s will, we are blessed. We should pray before planning events in our life. Our intention should always be to glorify God. We should not lift ourselves or any man to a position above God. God is not always jealous, only when we put idols before Him.
Exodus 34:14 (KJV) – For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
Psalm 4:3 (KJV) – But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him.
This life is not a joke to God. Humor is a blessing that should not be abused. Often, afflicted persons use humor to disguise troubles in their life. There is time for humor, as there is time for games and a time for every other event that happens in your life.
We need to stay focused on pleasing God with the gifts God gave us. The happiness of the people and satisfaction of a person is vanity. The completion of God’s will and fulfilling His plan should be the center of our efforts.
Be determined. Be hopeful. Be faithful. Be willing.
Jeremiah 29:11 (TLB) – For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
God has called people to humbly lead. Has He called you to lead. Some people are called to lead parties, some to lead parades. Some are called to lead prayer vigils and others to lead worship. Listen for direction from the Holy Spirit.
