1 John 3:1 (KJV) – Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
Imagine you have a child. How would you react if your child tripped over a stump while running full speed and broke their arm? Imagine how God feels when you are hurt.
How would you feel if your child stole a pack of gum while you both were at the store after you said “no” to your child when they asked you for money to buy candy? Imagine how God feels when you make mistakes.
How would you feel if your child sat down for an hour a day and completely read a book you recommended? How does God feel when we read the book of Isaiah?
God allows us to face trials and trouble. God allows us to make our own choices so we can learn more about the Life of Jesus and how to abide in Him.
Isaiah 41:13 – For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
There is a family of 12 hiking a mountain. The father is leading his 10 kids up the side of a mountain. The mother is waiting at the top with the family van.
One kid misses a step and slides 40 ft backwards down the hill. The kid is hurt, but he can still walk. Will the dad forget about one kid who fell back, and keep climbing?
If he is a smart dad, he will pick a strong child to go back and help the fallen one. The father will go back for that child himself, if his children can not do it.
Hebrews 13:5 (KJV) – Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
