Ephesians 4:15-16 (NLT)
15 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
The Body is the Body of Christ’s Church.
Christians believe Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of the World. This is the gospel of Jesus, that Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead, defeating death and evil. When a person believes the gospel of Jesus, they become Christians.
Christians should strive to live as Christ did. He loved everyone… YES, everyone. Everyone alive today, has a chance to receive Jesus as their LORD and change their wiked ways, repent, be born again, and live for GOD.
Galatians 6:1-3 (KJV)
1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are the BEGINNING of the New Covenant for a reason. You must believe that Jesus lives today to receive the ministry for The Body. Christians make up the body.
Paul’s letters to the Churches were written to believers, disciples and church leaders. We are to encourage believers. We do not encourage sinners to keep sinning. In the same manner, we do not degrade or tear down the church of Jesus. In Philippians 4:8, the Bible says, “if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
The Ministry of the Body is edifying members of the church and training them to be strong in there calling. A Body is not made up of all legs. How then could could it lift up anything, save itself? A Body is not all Heads. IN FACT, THE BODY OF CHRIST HAS ONE HEAD AND THAT IS JESUS CHRIST, THE ONE TRUE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
1 Corinthians 12:25-27 (NIV)
25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
