Philippians 4:19  (KJV)  –  But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

God says He will supply the needs of His children.  He will provide everything we need to accomplish His will on Earth.

In Genesis 22:1-10 – God instructed Abraham to build the altar to sacrifice his son Isaac.  Isaac asked his father, “We have fire and wood, but where is the sacrifice?”  Abraham said, “God Himself will provide the lamb.”  Abraham followed the instruction of the angel and bound his son to the altar.  He took a knife and stretched out his hands to kill the sacrifice.

Verse 12 – The angel of Lord told Abraham, “Do not lay a hand on the boy.”

Verse 13 – Abraham sees a ram with his horns caught in the thicket.  He uses this lamb as the burnt offering and sacrifices the ram instead of Isaac.

Genesis 22:15-18 (NLT) – 15 Then the angel of the Lord called again to Abraham from heaven. 16 “This is what the Lord says: Because you have obeyed me and have not withheld even your son, your only son, I swear by my own name that 17 I will certainly bless you. I will multiply your descendants beyond number, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will conquer the cities of their enemies. 18 And through your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed—all because you have obeyed me.”

We can not let anyone or anything distract us from God.  When we are obeying God, He will bless us.  Our physical needs and spiritual needs will be met through the power of God.

1 Corinthians 10:13 (NLT) – The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

James 1:17 (NKJV) – Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
