Wait for the Process
Philippians 2:12 (KJV) – Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Have you ever wanted to snap your finger and instantly have a four course meal on the table for your family?
When you receive Christ as your savior, your sins are washed away and you instantly walk in newness of life (2 Corinthians 5:17).
After you are saved, there is work to be done for your own salvation (Psalm 139:23-24)
It is a process to fulfill the will of God. God’s will is done and will be done.
It is our responsibility to wait for His will. We should sacrifice our lives by living for His sake (Rom 12:1-2). Be ready to serve God.
Do not be distracted by the glamour of this world. Do not be misled by your own desires (Gal 5:17).
Remain in prayer and listen for God’s instructions. Study His Word to be prepared (Eph 6:15).
Romans 5:1-5 (NKJV)
1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
