Cleanliness is Godliness
Matthew 23:26 (NKJV) – Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also.
Man-made traditions and religions are a stain on the Holiness of God. Only what God has created is what will remain. Our bodies will return to the dust. All men were created equal. What a man wears does not condemn him. Different societies worship God in different ways. God knows when his praises are clean and from the heart; not for man’s approval, but for the Glory of God.
God’s Holiness is not some aura of light or any particular power. God’s Holiness are the things consecrated to God and set apart from this world. When God makes someone or something Holy, it is set apart for the work of Jehovah.
Mark 6:20a (KJV) – For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him
The Holy Bible or Word of God will stand forever. Did the prophets speak English? Most likely, Jesus spoke Aramaic. Jesus may have spoken Hebrew and Greek, as well. Any version of the Holy Bible that we read in the English language is a translation.
Leviticus 16:30 (KJV) – For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the Lord.
Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament (Hebrews 5). We understand the Word of God as it has been translated. No matter what language we understand, Jesus died for our sins.
Jesus did not deserve to be crucified. It is through the death of Christ we have atonement for our sins. We are made clean by the blood of Jesus. He was the perfect lamb that was slain for the atonement of our sin.
Psalm 51:2, 7, 10 (KJV)
2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
