1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV – 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Playing dumb is dishonest. God sees our heart. When our judgement comes and our eternal fate is sealed, we will have no chance to play dumb. Our world today will tell you, “Be smart and play dumb!”
We must not live in sin, partaking of the devil’s fruits, and expect God to continually forgive us. We are cognizant of what is wrong. The responsibility of staying clean and Holy is ours (1 Peter 1:16).
Romans 1:20 (KJV) – For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
God and His authority are clear. We cannot live in sin and act like we do not know what is good and what is bad. God does not tell us to do bad things. If we are dishonest with ourselves and God, there will be hell to pay. Do what you know is right. Read the Bible to better understand how we should then live.
Read about how Hezekiah, a great King of Judah at age 25, did what he knew was right and was blessed accordingly:
2 Kings 18:4-7 (NKJV) – 4He removed the high places and broke the sacred pillars, cut down the wooden image and broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made; for until those days the children of Israel burned incense to it, and called it Nehushtan. 5 He trusted in the Lord God of Israel, so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor who were before him. 6 For he held fast to the Lord; he did not depart from following Him, but kept His commandments, which the Lord had commanded Moses. 7 The Lord was with him; he prospered wherever he went. And he rebelled against the king of Assyria and did not serve him.
