Be Ye Kind
Ephesians 4:32 (KJV) – And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
Lend a helping hand. Give to the poor. Love your enemies. Lend whatever you can. When you give, expect nothing in return. Give of yourself to help others. You may not like what they do, but you must Love them.
and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. –Luke 6:35b (NLT)
As children of God, who are we to judge the wicked. There is no measure of sin. If a man steals a tire for his car and another man shoots his friend for snoring, which of the two deserves kindness.
1 Corinthians 13:3-4 (KJV)
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
As Christians, we should love the thief and the murderer. We need to show them God’s unconditional Love and offer them a chance to repent and turn from their wicked ways and receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Romans 12:9, 14, 17-18 (NLT)
9 Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. 14 Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. 17 Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. 18 Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.
