Count It All Joy
James 1:2-4 (NKJV)
2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
If your dog dies, Praise the Lord. If you wreck your car and break your leg, Praise the Lord. If you find out you have cancer, Praise the Lord.
These are situations that prompt people of this world to curse God. Some people facing trials and temptations may believe they have deserved the negative events.
Christians need to see struggles as a way for the Lord to deliver us and bring glory to His name.
2 Peter 2:9 (KJV) – The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
When bad things happen in our life, we may be tempted to be doubtful, or fearful or simply confused. Do not be dismayed when bad things happen.
The Bible says count it all Joy when you face trials. There is no problem too big for God. We have to let go of our problems and let God handle them.
God is all powerful. When bad things happen, trust that he allowed it to happen so that His name will be glorified.
Luke 8:11, 13 (KJV)
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
Don’t be like the seed on the rocks. Show God that you are rooted in His Word. When trials come, let God see you through. You can not do it alone.
Practice letting God handle the little problems you have. Then you can believe and pass the tests of Faith when you face big trials. God will see you through whatever challenges you are facing.
