On Guard

Mark 13:22-23

22 For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones. 23 So be on your guard! I have warned you about this ahead of time!

In these last days of the World as we know it, the evil one is attacking the Kingdom on all fronts. We must cling to God’s Word and not be deceived by traditions or false teachings. Do not be tempted by the masses to compromise your position. Stand on the Word of God.

Philippians 4:5b-7 (NLT)

5 Remember, the Lord is coming soon. 6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

We must be sober and vigilant in our quest to share God’s Love. As children of God, we must yield to His will. It is OK if you long to conquer evil and you want to attack the Devil and send all demons back to hell.

We must be gentle with the people but fierce with evil spirits. We must control our desires and wants. Don’t let desires for worldly things distract you. Do not be misled by worldly temptations.

God can use all of us to share His love with others. If we are distracted trying buy stuff we don’t need or go places where God does not want us, we could miss out on God’s will for our life.

Pray about everything and be positive that God approves of whatever you do, say, want or feel. If God does not agree with the way you are feeling, change the way you feel. Self-control is a gift of the Holy Spirit.

Temptations of the world do not detour the Peace of God. His Peace guards our hearts and minds.

Psalm 23 (NKJV)

The Lord the Shepherd of His People

A Psalm of David.

1 The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
