Worry / Fear
Matthew 10:25-26 (NKJV)
25 It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household! 26 Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.
We cannot live out God’s potential for us when we walk in fear. Do not fear bad people. When we awake in the morning, we should give our life and the day ahead to God. God goes with us and before us. He prepares the way.
When we walk in confidence that God will provide, in faith that He is protecting us, we are protected by His armour. We need to feed our Spirit each morning by reading the Word and spending time in prayer.
We need to read His Word and spend time in prayer each night before we lay down to sleep. Throughout the day, we should pray continually and seek God’s will in every decision we make.
Matthew 10:27-28 (NKJV)
27 “Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. 28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
After we spend time with God, he reveals His will for our lives and those we love. He instructs us to share His love and tell people about Him.
His written Word, the Bible, is our daily Bread. God strengthens our Spirit with Life through Jesus. John 15 tells us how God, the gardener, will strengthen us and provide for us. We have to abide in Jesus to receive His help.
1 John 4:4 (NKJV) – You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
