10-22-15 – Misery

Romans 3:8, 16, 18 (NKJV)

8 And why not say, “Let us do evil that good may come”?—as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their condemnation is just. 16 Destruction and misery are in their ways; 18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

Misery loves company.

Christians, do not lower yourselves to the ways of the world to find Peace. We can not participate in evil so that good may come. We DO NOT TEAR DOWN OTHERS to make ourselves look “good”.

Angels fly on the breath of God. They do not tread on the carcasses of their prey. Evil people will want you to join them in their misery. We are a target of the devil’s oppression until we fall into his wicked ways.

Be strong. Put on the whole armor of God and stand amidst the evil in this world. Continue to shine His light of Love and Joy and the fiery darts meant to cause you pain will bounce off your armor and back at the devil.

Proverbs 31:8 (KJV) – Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.

If your friends start to hurt a weaker person, step in the way and speak out for the afflicted. The devil will not stay in the Light. When we let Jesus shine through us, the devil cowers and flees.

Romans 12:20-21 (KJV)

20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
