Psalm 25:6 (NKJV)
6 Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they are from of old.
God’s Mercy is poured out from heaven on a daily basis. Salvation is found in Jesus. However, God’s mercy is poured on everyone. God is watching over the just and the unjust (Matthew 5:45). He gives a choice today to choose life or death (Deut. 30:19).
God loves the sinners and the saints. His greatest mercy was given to us as sinners. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). All who are living in sin deserve to die (Romans 6:23).
Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV)
22 It is of the Lord‘s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
You may recognize His mercy in your life. That does not mean you are going to Heaven. You have a choice to make; live for Jesus or live for your own desires.
Isaiah 55:1-3, 6-7 (KJV)
1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
